Day 134: Van Morrison – Everyone

by admin

In 1967, Bert Berns produced Van Morrison’s most notable and radio-friendly song, “Brown Eyed Girl.” Rather than feature a song we’ve all heard a million times, I’ve decided to post a song that quite a few of you may have never heard at all. This deep cut from 1970’s Moondance¬†has nothing to do with Bert Berns, but it’s quick, forward rhythmic motion and intermingling of Clavinet and flute present a prime contender against “Brown Eyed Girl” in the ring of Van Morrison classics.
