Louisiana Tales X :: Goin’ Back To New Orleans

by admin

Prepare yourself for fighting words from Ernie K. Doe, Indian marches, second lines, Mardi Gras celebratin’, and the inherent soul standards. If I were to make every one of these about New Orleans, I think I very well could because part of making mixes is do just that … mixing. The music of New Orleans brews one of the most beautiful gumbos I could ever work with. Sure it takes a little effort and taste on my part to weave the right songs together but it’s the simultaneous amounts of diversity and togetherness that make almost any combination of New Orleans Music flow effortlessly.
